Fendt has chosen Apollo Tyres’ Vredestein VF Traxion Optimall as original equipment (OE) for its new range of Fendt 700 Gen7 tractors. The Fendt Vario 720, 722, 724, 726 and 728 tractors are available with the combination VF 710/70 R 42 & VF 600/70 R 30 Traxion Optimall. Additional sizes will follow soon.

Guido Boerkamp, Director Off-Highway Tyres Europe at Apollo Tyres, said: “Our latest OE deal with AGCO’s subsidiary Fendt follows feedback we have received from farmers and agricultural contractors who value the VF Traxion Optimal range, mostly because of its soil preservation and traction in the field, as well as its long lifespan and comfort levels on the road.”

The Vredestein Traxion features a characteristic curved lug shape with more rubber in the middle of the profile to ensure optimal comfort and high wear resistance. Towards the shoulders of the tyre, the lugs diverge to provide additional traction  and self-cleaning capabilities in the field. The application of Vredestein’s unique F+ technology for its VF(Very High Flexion) tyres ensures that even during heavy traction work, the tyres can be operated at low pressure.

With the continuous development and extension of the VF tyre range, the Vredestein brand now offers 27 tyre sizes, for the entire tractor range between 100 and 450 HP. Over the coming years, Apollo Tyres will continue to strengthen its partnership with Fendt, supporting its expanding range of tractors.
