BKT and the United Rugby Championship (URC) have extended their partnership until 2030, featuring a renewed scope and positioning. BKT now becomes the official global tyre partner of the tournament, broadening its reach across all URC territories: Ireland, Italy, Scotland, Wales and South Africa.

This marks an eight-season partnership, building on the collaboration initiated in 2022, and enhances BKT’s influence in international rugby through passion, performance, talent, and support for young generations that will continue to fuel this enduring relationship.

Lucia Salmaso, Managing Director of BKT Europe, and Martin Anayi, CEO of the United Rugby Championship, signed the agreement.

The Lanfranchi Stadium in Parma, Italy served as the symbolic location for BKT and URC to reaffirm their commitment. Beyond rugby, where the brand partners with significant international competitions like URC and Six Nations, BKT’s presence spans some of the world’s most followed sports. These include the main football championships (LALIGA, Serie BKT, and Ligue 2 BKT), basketball leagues (EuroLeague and BKT EuroCup), curling in Canada, cricket in India and Australia, and Monster Jam motorsport competition.
