Trelleborg Tires has been awarded “Best Agriculture Tire” at the 14th Prêmio Visão Agro Centro-Sul, held in Piracicaba, São Paulo, Brazil. The award was handed over to Fabio Metidieri, Director of Yokohama TWS Brazil.

A example of such a tire is the TM800 Sugar Cane, developed specifically for the Brazilian market. Engineered with a reinforced structure and optimized tread, it delivers maximum traction, longer life, and reduced soil compaction in one of the most challenging agricultural environments. Another solution is the TM150 CFO, a high-performance tire for modern crop sprayers. Featuring VF (Very High Flexion) and CFO (Cyclic Field Operation) technologies, which enables increased load capacity during cyclic operations at speeds of up 30 km/h. Its internal structure enables operation at lower inflation pressures, increasing the footprint to reduce soil compaction and improve traction, key features for self-propelled sprayers, widely used in Brazil’s large-scale farming.

Trelleborg Tires has agricultural specialists, field testing, and OEM partnerships established across Brazil’s main farming regions. This proximity allows for faster technical support and ensures that product development remains closely aligned with the needs and challenges of Brazilian agriculture. As Fabio Metidieri emphasized: “This award reflects the trust placed in our team and our products by professionals across the sector. It strengthens our commitment to delivering technologies that respond to local challenges and help drive the future of Brazilian farming.”

The Visão Agro Centro-Sul Award is one of Brazil’s most respected agribusiness recognitions. It honors suppliers and experts across the region who are transforming agriculture through innovation and performance. Winners are selected through both technical evaluation and votes from professionals across the agricultural value chain, making it a true industry benchmark for excellence in the industry.
