After investments in plant extension, which will go into full operation in a few months, Einböck from Austria is now also investing over € 2.3 million in new production facilities in their main plant. This primarily includes further process optimisation, automation and capacity expansion. The new facilities will also make production more energy-efficient and thus more environment friendly.

By investing in another flatbed laser and optimising the existing laser cutting system, Eiböch will be able to increase productivity and further improve quality. This further, now already sixth laser system, is characterised by exact cutting results as well as increased speed and working more energy-efficiently.

In the welding shop, another robot welding cell for small parts and another portal welding robot for frame parts up to 3 m will be put into operation in a couple of months. A new modern extraction system will also improve air quality in the welding shop. Since last April, a new levelling machine has been increasing the quality of the laser parts and providing automation, as well as relief for the employees. The increased quality of the levelled steel parts and sheets benefits all subsequent production steps as well as the external contract manufacturing companies.

Expansion of contract manufacturing division & photovoltaics

“We put great importance to the highest ‘Made in Austria’ quality, as well as to sustainable production”, explains Michael Einböck, Head of Development & Engineering. “These plants enable us to raise our quality standards again and create additional production capacity. This also opens up the possibility for us to further expand our area of contract manufacturing,” states Alfred Erkner-Sacherl, production manager at Einböck. “Thanks to our 4 wood chip ovens with a total output of approx. 2.3 MW as well as more than 10,000 m² of photovoltaic surfaces on our roofs, we will also be able to become self-sufficient in the near future – provided the sun is shining, of course,” CEO Leopold Einböck concludes.
